About Us.
Our Story
While vacationing with my family in Hawaii, we had dinner at a nice restaurant. On the menu, was Wagyu Beef. I had heard of it but never indulged. When my plate arrived, the cut of meat didn’t appear to be different than what I’ve seen before. It looked like your typical filet but I was in for a surprise. The knife cut with ease into this tender piece of meat; it was like cutting butter. The flavor was intense and lasting. It was so amazing my family of four savored every bite I reluctantly shared. This was a turning point in meat selection. How do we get this wonderous meat at home?
I didn’t grow up on a cattle farm. This is a new journey for my family. I’ve spent a lot of time researching Wagyu and its genetics from what’s served at a restaurant to what’s considered standard to the American Wagyu Association. It’s confusing and complicated but knowing where your meat comes from is important to me because not all meat is created equally. We believe there is a correlation between cost and quality: you get what you pay for. Most of our fleet is 100% Wagyu.
I’ve traveled the Mid-West to find the best of the best. I’ve brought them home to capture a new experience and provide quality all around. Getting food farm to table with humane farming practices is ease of mind for us and the animals. Our animals run, play, and live a fulfilled life. They enjoy roaming the pastures and when it’s feeding time they come running to greet us. Our cattle are pasture raised, fed quality ingredients and loved. Better ingredients produce a better product. No added hormones, antibiotics, or GMOs….ever.
From our family to yours, enjoy better things.
